Add-on: n8n Connector

n8n Connector is a Gravity Forms add-on that sends form submissions to n8n webhooks, secured with JWT authentication, and can write the response of the workflow back into the entry. Use it to start n8n automations from a form, for example to enrich a lead, create a ticket or run an AI step, and show or store the result.

What you can do with n8n Connector

• Choose a response mode: Trigger Only, Immediate Update or Delayed Update for long workflows.
• Map form fields, or custom values with merge tags, to JSON keys in the request.
• Map keys from the n8n response back to fields, or store the full response in a text field.
• Secure each connection with a JWT secret (HS256 by default) that you reuse in a JWT Auth credential in n8n.
• Paste a ready-made Webhook node into n8n with Copy Webhook Node.
• Add several feeds per form with conditional logic, and switch between the Test and Production webhook URL.
• Send a request as a Gravity Flow workflow step.

1. Getting Started: create the connection and the matching credential in n8n.
2. Set up the feed: choose the data to send and what happens with the response.

Requirements

• Gravity Forms 2.5 or later
• WordPress 5.0 or later
• PHP 8.0 or later
• An n8n instance, self-hosted or cloud, where you can create credentials and workflows
• Optional: Gravity Flow, to run n8n requests as workflow steps
